Pool & Spa Safety Barrier Inspections
The introduction of new legislation in 2019 has seen pool & spa safety barrier inspections become compulsory in Victoria. Luckily, adherence to the newly prescribed safety precautions is as simple as a phone call to arrange for your inspection.
Deciphering the legal documents to ascertain whether you need to upgrade the safety of your pool or spa can be a daunting task. We’ve made the process much simpler for you, offering fast and easy pool and spa safety inspections and certification. Here’s what you need to do to ensure compliance:
- Register: Visit your local council’s website to register your pool or spa. Your council will then send you a letter confirming the registration of your pool or spa that contains, among other information, the date of construction.
- Inspection: Once you’ve received the letter from your local councils, give us a call to arrange for your inspection. Our inspector will confirm an inspection date, conduct the inspection, and clearly communicate what you need to do to make your pool area compliant.
- Certification: You have 60 days from the date of inspection to implement the safety measures, after which our inspector will return, assess the improvements made, and, if correct, issue your certificate of compliance directly to the council.
We offer fast and effective pool & spa safety barrier inspections, helping you eliminate the fuss around compliance.
